Hey my name is Laurel. I enjoy and particiate in practically every form of creativy outlets. Writing, drawing, listening to music, playing guitar, and building nick-nacks. I like creating everything from art to robots(Odessey of the Mind, people. An awesome competion for "creative people" *cough* imaginative weirdos *cough cough* like most of us on deviantART.)

I listen to rock and roll, from Aerosmith to ZZ Top. I like the old times rock and roll and today's new stuff from artists like Three Doors Down and The Fray. I also LOVE New Orleans style "hot jazz".

When it comes to my art, some it is fan art, but a vast majority is inspired by the music I listen to. Also, I day dream a lot... I mean A LOT. I'll be talking about something to someone and I'll just stop. Just like that. :P It's kinda funny, acutally.

"Where the Wild Things are" ROXMAHSOX!!!

Today, my parents took my sisters and I to the movies because we have all been talking about it (mostly me XP) and it's been raining for the past two days... and still is. :|

Anyway, we all went to this place beforehand called "The Pub" which is a british pub that has some rockin' fish and chips. We got full on the great british food and then went straight to the movie theatre(Yes, that is technically spelt right). And my dad bought five tickets to the IMAX showing of "Where the Wild Things are" and we went and saw it.

Then when we got close to the ending, I realized my youngest sister was sobbing and so I started to cry a little bit also. By the end, my sister and I were both crying into her sweater and my dad was laughing at us. D: I went in telling myself I wouldn't cry at "Where the Wild Things are" and I lied to myself. I felt like such a loser until my mom told me that she cried a little bit too at the end. So that made me feel better. :) Just a bit.

As for those of you who follow me and my friends on Youtube, this is some news for you all. I recorded some footage tonight (first solo video!) and it should be up tomarrow.

PS: On Monday, I'm going to school as a cow for school spirit week and it's Jersey Day on Monday. So I'm going as a Jersey Cow!
Tuesday it's Twin day, and I'm VERY tempted to cover myself in tinfoil and be EVERYONE'S twin! XD
Wendsday is something and I am too tired to care. 'Night...

Yup, I don't personally live there(unfortuanately) but some of my family lives nearby and we visited Seattle and Pike's Place Market one day. I was in love with my camera during that trip. :D
